1 Hare Court is known as the leading set for family law. In 2012 we were named “Family Law Set of the Year” for the third time in six years by Chambers & Partners, and our members have been and are involved in almost all of the leading cases including Radmacher v Granatino, Agbaje v Agbaje and Petrodel v Prest. We have 41 current members, of whom 13 are in silk. Finding the next generation of expert practitioners is important to us and we offer two pupillages per year. We specialise in technically complex work, often with international dimensions. All of our members are expert in financial remedies work on divorce or civil partnership dissolution, many represent clients in cohabitation disputes and all undertake private law children cases. Alongside our advisory and litigation practices, we have an Arbitatrion, Mediation and Evaluation group offering alternatives to a court-bound outcome.
